After 5 intense days of competition, our duo of skippers Camille Lecointre and Jérémie Mion finished in 6th place in the 470 World Championship! ⛵
These five days of qualifying and finals have produced some very fine races, but have also revealed some difficulties. Sixth before the Medal race, which was due to take place this Sunday, Camille and Jérémie had every chance of finishing on the podium at this World Championship. But the weather conditions forced the race committee to cancel this final race.
Camille and Jérémie therefore maintained their 6th place in this first race of the season, before returning to Palma in a month’s time for the Trofeo Princesa Sofia.
