Preambule
This privacy policy (updated on 02/11/2023) defines and informs users of the way in which Entrepôts et Transports Barbé uses and protects the personal data that they transmit to the company via the SEAFRIGO (hereinafter the “Website”).
In the same way as the TOS (Terms of Service), any access to and/or use of the Website implies acceptance of and compliance with all the terms of this Privacy Policy and its unconditional acceptance. It therefore constitutes a contract between Entrepôts et Transports Barbé and the user.
This Privacy Policy may be modified or supplemented at any time by Entrepôts et Transports Barbé, in particular with a view to complying with any legislative, regulatory, legal or technological developments. In such a case, the date of its update will be clearly identified within this policy. These modifications are binding on the user as soon as they are put online. 1. Personal data
Entrepôts et Transports Barbé undertakes that the collection and processing of personal information, carried out within the Website, is done so in accordance with the French law n°78-17 of 6 January 1978 as amended, relating to information technology, files and liberties, hereinafter referred to as the “Data Protection Act” and the GDPR General Data Protection Regulation of 27 April 2016 (hereinafter referred to as the “GDPR”).

The “processing” of personal data includes any operation carried out manually or by means of automated processes applied to personal data. 1.4 Nature of the data collected
Only data that are necessary and relevant for the purposes pursued are collected (proportionality principle). These may include:
- Surname, first name
- Email address
- Phone
- Any other personal data that may be useful for the purposes set out in Article 1.5 below.
The information that Entrepôts et Transports Barbé is required to collect comes from:
- Either by entering the user’s personal details when requesting contact or a quotation
- Or data resulting from the user’s navigation on the platform by means of cookies.
If the aforementioned data is provided online, Entrepôts et Transports Barbé may also collect it offline (for example via a business card given voluntarily to an employee of the company or in a signature sent in an e-mail to an employee). This Privacy Policy will therefore apply regardless of the means of collection.

Right of access

Right to obtain from the data manager the updating or rectification of inaccurate personal data.
Right to erasure
Right to obtain from the data manager the erasure of personal data when such data are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they are processed, when the individual concerned by the data (data subject) withdraws his/her consent, when he/she objects under his/her right to object to the processing or when the processing of the data is unlawful.
Right of limitation
Right to obtain from the data manager the restriction of the processing where the processing of the data is unlawful, where the data are no longer necessary for the purpose of processing but are still useful for the establishment, exercise or defence of a legal claim or where the individual concerned (data subject) has opposed the processing on the basis of his right to object.
Right to data portability
The right to receive the data provided to the data manager in a readable, structured and commonly used format and the possibility to transfer them without hindrance to another data manager.
Right to object
The right to object at any time, for reasons relating to one’s particular situation, to the processing of one’s personal data, in particular when such data are processed for the purposes of canvassing, profiling, historical, scientific or statistical research. The data manager may proceed with such processing if it proves that it is necessary for a legitimate and compelling reason that prevails over the interests, rights and freedoms of the individual concerned (data subject).

Entrepôts et Transports Barbé has a period of one month from receipt of the request to provide an answer.

- Concerning cookies, he/she has direct means of opposition specified above in paragraph 2.4.
If, moreover, the user considers that the processing of his/her personal data does not comply with the legislative and regulatory provisions in force, he/she has the possibility of lodging a complaint with the CNIL.
1.8 Data security and recipients
Entrepôts et Transports Barbé undertakes to ensure the protection and security of the personal data that the user chooses to communicate, in order to ensure their confidentiality and to prevent them from being falsified, damaged, destroyed or disclosed to unauthorised third parties.
The company therefore uses physical, electronic and procedural security devices that are in principle sufficient to protect these data against misuse, loss and unauthorised access, disclosure, modification and destruction.
