The adventure of Un Eté Au Havre began in 2017 to celebrate the 500th anniversary of the city and port of Le Havre. Since then, this event has become an annual event not to be missed transforming the city into a contemporary art gallery in open sky.
Deeply committed to the transmission of culture, Gaël Charbau worked for more than a year and a half to imagine new artistic avenues and approaches. He wants art to run through the city like a thrill, crossing the boundaries between private and public spaces, and extending into new neighbourhoods.
The « Métamorphoses » project, a laboratory of urban forms, will unveil new visions of art in the city of tomorrow, with artists exploring all artistic fields: painting, sculpture, fashion, living art and digital technologies.
